TheFashionList™ is a service that provides the Fashion & Beauty Community with the most complete source for all that is fashion while on the internet. We publish a cohesive & constantly updated list of events. In addition, we are a true portal, as we provide the ability to online RSVP, build and export calendars, and link to external sites for further research.

Located in the American Fashion epicenter, New York City, our co-founders have made it their goal to act as an essential tool to ensure a quick and effortless way to organize the fashionable lifestyle of our clients. We are highly motivated to provide these services to the fashion and beauty communities and maintain the integrity of our industry’s most press worthy events.

The user friendly, pass-worded interface provides clients with an eco-aware system of scheduling, announcing, and RSVP-ing for industry events. Clients will have the capability to tailor the site to meet their individual, personalized needs and respective niches.

As listings accumulate, TheFashionList™ will transition into a trade resource assembled by clients and fashion providers. This offers the user a database of information built and provided by fashion’s insiders themselves, versus hired editors who are merely documenting their own filtered observations.

About the TheFashionList™ founders:  

Meredith Garcia began her career overseeing Marketing and Public Relations for a men's focused fashion house based in New York. There, she executed numerous campaigns for designer label  R. Scott French as well as a number of contemporary collections. Her efforts resulted in increased profits of 96 percent in less than two years. She also served as both producer and director of the R. Scott French fashion shows during IMG's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, which led to widespread celebrity and editorial placements. This year, she has made appearances on various media outlets including CNBC's The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, FOX News and NY1, in addition to being quoted in industry publications such as the NY Post & Crain's NY Business. Most recently, she was appointed as a member of Fashion Group International (FGI), a nonprofit organization focusing on all aspects of business within the fashion industry. Meredith is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC and holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Originally from Roswell, Georgia, she now resides in New York City, where she is still adjusting to her diminutive closet space.

Scott French brings to TheFashionList™ a broad skill set within the fashion industry with an eclectic experience ranging from retail and wholesale, to design and production. He has been designing under his own label since the late 1980's & has presented collections in both the Women's & Men's intimate apparel & sleepwear markets (under the label French Jenny) as well as his own namesake collection of designer Men's & Women's sportswear since 1999. An active member of the Council Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), Scott is a New York runway regular & has shown 7 collections to date under the tents in Bryant Park & he still designs 3 mens collections each season. He has a media reel that includes multiple appearances on Bravo Network, NBC, Fox News, FuseTV, MetroChannel, Style Network & NY1, as well as a myriad of worldwide printed press & 100's of websites. Scott's body of work has been published in 5 books including the titles "The World's Best Lingerie Design", "American Fashion" (Assouline) & "The Tartan Mystique" (Rizzoli) & most recently in "American Fashion: Menswear" (Assouline).
