The Gold Standard
Economist have always given the advice that buying gold is a safe bet, well this season designers took the hint & invested in The Gold
Standard. All shades were huge on the New York Catwalk; Marigold,
Yellow Gold, & Jungle Gold-just to name a few- were perfect for adding
that hint of style and class to the collections. So we can all take a
suggestion & look like a million bucks by adding a piece of gold to
our wardrobe.

Bubble Skirts
Bubble skirts come in and out of style faster than a New York taxicab cuts off an out of state car, but for Fall 2010 it is IN & all about volume & texture.
This silhouette gives a much sought after flattering slim appearance to the torso &
legs, while accentuating an embellished feminine hip. Unlike season’s
past there are no rules when it comes to fabrics & colors. There were
looks for evening that could be worn to any of an elegant affair &
more casual attire looks or even daywear. These fun skirts are a
great conversation starter as everyone will be asking “Who are you
wearing?”

Lunar Looks
Loving looks that are outa of this world? So did a number of designers
this season… but don’t get too excited, designers opted into a
none-too literal approach to this aesthetic using galaxy & lunar
prints in the forms of dresses to express their need for intergalactic
travel & beauty. Hues of light blues, oranges, & reds give hints of
lunar & solar reflections through prints while hints of lunar rocks
reigned supreme throughout. This is a great alternative to add some color & a
dash of exhilaration to your Fall lineup.
