John Bartlett, who always lands on his feet, has officially announced his latest endeavor. 

After his untimely departure from Claiborne this past season, it came as no surprise that Bartlett had something else already in the works.  The menswear designer, who has a number of menswear awards & collaborated with brands like Byblos, Gurkha, Liz Claiborne, not to mention developed his namesake label, is now working on his latest venture partnering with Alex Carleton from Rogues Gallery.

The upcoming partnership will include Rogues Gallery’s signature vintage tees designed specifically for the John Bartlett patron.  There will also be an extensive line of leather goods which will include a deluxe, handcrafted black leather gym bag (pictured on front page), a leather log carrier, and an assortment of bankers’ envelopes made from leather, silk screened canvas and vintage, recycled wools.  

The Rogues Gallery/John Bartlett (RG/JB) will launch December 2009 at the John Bartlett Retail Store located at 143 Seventh Avenue South, New York, NY 10014.
